Position Overview

A well-established legal firm is in search of a dedicated and proficient Talent Acquisition Specialist to enhance our Human Resources division. This position is essential for executing our talent acquisition initiatives and fostering our workforce development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in close collaboration with the HR Director to comprehend and execute the firm's hiring, onboarding, and offboarding protocols.
  • Assist in the formulation, development, and execution of recruitment strategies that align with the firm's overarching HR policies and talent objectives.
  • Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle, which includes sourcing candidates, performing initial assessments, arranging interviews, and aiding in hiring decisions.
  • Collaborate with management to ascertain staffing requirements and devise innovative recruitment solutions.
  • Support the management of HR programs, particularly those related to talent acquisition, such as employee referrals, internships, and graduate recruitment.
  • Maintain and refresh candidate information within the firm's HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Participate in recruitment events and job fairs to effectively represent and promote the firm.
  • Assist in the revision and upkeep of the Firm's Employee Handbook, focusing on recruitment and onboarding sections.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of organizational trends in staffing and recruitment.
  • Assist the HR department in the formulation and oversight of budgets, particularly concerning recruitment expenditures.
  • Engage in professional development and training, especially in areas pertinent to talent acquisition and employment legislation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in recruitment or talent coordination, ideally within a legal or professional services context.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively engaging with candidates and management.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with the aptitude to manage multiple recruitment processes concurrently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Understanding of employment-related laws and regulations relevant to recruitment and hiring.
  • SHRM-CP or equivalent HR certification is advantageous.
