Job Summary:
The Front Desk Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and staff, while ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register patients and collect fees in a timely and accurate manner
- Enter patient data into the electronic health record system
- Answer phone calls and respond to voicemails in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner
- Assist providers with non-medical tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
- Comply with all OSHA, safety, and Elica policies and procedures
- Report any incidents or unusual occurrences to the supervisor/manager
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Knowledge of office equipment, including computers, copiers, and multi-line telephones
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to maintain records and files
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to exert physical effort maintaining and distributing files
- Knowledge of basic medical clinic care and procedures
- Training and HIPAA knowledge
- Bilingual Farsi, Spanish, Arabic, or Russian preferred
