Job Overview
As a pivotal figure in enhancing the Engineering division's efficiency, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure effective management of metrics, dashboards, and cross-functional initiatives. Your role will involve overseeing departmental operations and executing professional activities within a specific technical area. While you will operate with a degree of independence, your actions will be aligned with established policies and the review of outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and management of engineering and technology projects, ensuring proper resource allocation and adherence to original cost estimates. You will manage schedules, budgets, and the integration of New Product Introduction (NPI) and requisition projects, ensuring alignment with customer Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements and milestone achievements.
  • This position requires a strong leader capable of hiring and nurturing talent, including direct management of personnel and their performance development. You will leverage your extensive technical knowledge and analytical skills to implement policies and strategies effectively.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of best practices within your field and how your area interacts with others, while being aware of competitive factors that distinguish your organization in the market.
  • Utilize sound judgment to propose innovative solutions to complex manufacturing processes that involve technical diversity and interdependent production cycles, drawing from both internal and limited external resources.
  • Serve as a mentor for less experienced colleagues, potentially leading smaller projects with manageable risks and resource needs. You will communicate performance expectations clearly and address sensitive issues as they arise.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Engineering, Technology, and Project Management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

  • Competence in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
  • Established skills in project management.
  • Experience in NPI Product Engineering, Design & Development, Aerospace electronics, Project Management, LEAN methodologies, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this role is competitive, influenced by factors such as experience, education, and skill set. This position also includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary.
