Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to enhance the efficiency of our Engineering operations and facilitate collaboration across various departments. This role involves overseeing the planning and execution of departmental operations while ensuring adherence to established policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and management of engineering and technology projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with customer requirements. Responsible for delivering projects within the original budget and timeline while meeting customer critical-to-quality (CTQ) standards.
  • Act as a people leader, responsible for hiring, mentoring, and developing talent within the team. This includes direct management of staff and fostering a culture of performance improvement.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices and how your area of expertise integrates with other functions. Stay informed about market competitors and their differentiating factors.
  • Utilize analytical skills and technical expertise to propose innovative solutions for complex manufacturing processes, demonstrating sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues, leading smaller projects with manageable risks and resource needs. Facilitate discussions to achieve consensus among team members and communicate performance expectations effectively.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Engineering, Technology, and Project Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience in planning, marketing, and executing engineering programs.
  • Established skills in project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with NPI Product Engineering, Design & Development, Aerospace electronics, LEAN principles, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position ranges from $94,500 to $157,500, influenced by the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance metrics.
