About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead our Engineering function. As a key member of our team, you will drive initiatives to improve the effectiveness of our Engineering function and interface with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage engineering/technology projects, ensuring organization resource allocation is made and delivering the scope of work to the original cost estimate.
- Manage schedule, budget, and integration of NPI and/or requisition projects, including influencing the projects to meet customer CTQs and hit tollgate milestones.
- Lead a team of engineers and project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
- Develop and implement best practices and processes to improve project delivery and team performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address project risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Engineering/Technology & Project Management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Established project management skills.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, DO-254, and DO-178.
Desired Characteristics:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Experience with NPI Product Engineering, Design & Development, Aerospace electronics product, Project Management, LEAN, and EVM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
