POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sportsbook Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact within our retail establishment. By delivering exceptional customer service to both seasoned patrons and newcomers to sports betting, they create an inviting atmosphere in our sportsbooks. As a knowledgeable resource on our array of sports wagering options, the Representative will assist customers in making informed and responsible betting choices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (This list is not exhaustive and may include additional tasks)
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all visitors of our sportsbooks.
  • Comply with all regulations established by the company and the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with accurate information or seek assistance to provide timely answers.
  • Work to resolve customer disputes and escalate issues to a supervisor when necessary.
  • Effectively communicate and promote our diverse sports betting offerings to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all necessary documentation (Title 31) as per company policy and gaming control board standards.
  • Embody our core values, which include family-style service, mission, and vision.
  • Promote our culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Email, MS Excel, internet navigation, etc.).
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to obtain a gaming license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Commitment to adhere to all compliance requirements set forth by the company and the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
  • Previous experience in a sportsbook setting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to inspire, lead, and mentor team members.
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be necessary to perform essential job functions)
  • Must be able to stand for long durations.
  • Must be capable of lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to write for extended periods.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, or reach without significant limitations.
  • This role may involve exposure to a smoke-filled and noisy environment.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests, possess excellent communication and observational skills, and maintain a friendly demeanor to foster a fun and safe environment for all. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, which may include working on weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
