POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sportsbook Ticket Agent serves as the primary point of contact for our retail operations. By delivering exceptional customer service to both seasoned bettors and newcomers, they create a welcoming atmosphere in our sports betting venues. As a knowledgeable resource on our array of sports wagering options, the Ticket Agent will assist customers in making informed and responsible betting choices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (This list is not exhaustive and may include additional tasks)
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all patrons visiting our sportsbooks.
  • Comply with all regulations established by the company and the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with accurate information or seek assistance to provide timely answers.
  • Effectively manage and resolve customer disputes, escalating issues to a supervisor when necessary.
  • Promote and communicate our diverse range of sports betting options to clients.
  • Ensure all compliance documentation (Title 31) is completed according to company policies and gaming regulations.
  • Embody our core values, emphasizing family-style service, mission, and vision.
  • Support our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) initiatives.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES
  • Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Email, MS Excel, internet navigation).
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to obtain a gaming license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Commitment to adhere to all compliance standards set by the company and the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
  • Prior experience in a sportsbook environment is highly desirable.
  • Capability to motivate, lead, and mentor team members.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be necessary to perform essential job functions)
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to write for extended durations.
  • Ability to twist, bend, or reach without significant limitations.
  • Exposure to a smoke-filled and noisy environment may occur.
CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARDS: Employees are expected to uphold our core values, service standards, and family-style service.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Must possess the ability to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests, demonstrate excellent communication and observational skills, and maintain a friendly demeanor to foster a fun and safe environment for our guests. Proficient speaking, reading, and writing in English is essential. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
