Position Overview:

The Assembler plays a vital role in our manufacturing processes by executing mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. Utilizing hand tools, as well as electronic and pneumatic equipment, the Assembler ensures the completion of assemblies and sub-assemblies. Prior experience in mechanical or electrical assembly is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Execute assembly operations to fulfill production schedules.
  • Employ various tools and fixtures to assemble, modify, measure, cut, drill, adjust, test, or repair products.
  • Conduct quality control inspections on materials/products before and after assembly.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to assess the electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies.
  • Report any discrepancies in work orders, material lists, assembly instructions, or equipment issues to supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leads.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
  • Comply with safety regulations at all times.

  • Ability to read and interpret visual aids such as drawings and blueprints is important.

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with reading electrical diagrams is a plus.
  • Experience in wiring control panels is beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires regular communication and active engagement. Candidates must frequently use their hands and fingers to handle tools and materials. The role involves standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, along with the ability to adjust focus. The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, and candidates must be able to access and inspect all machinery areas.
