Position Summary:

The Assembler plays a crucial role in our manufacturing operations by executing bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Proficiency in using hand tools, as well as electronic and pneumatic equipment, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Execute assembly tasks to produce complete products as directed by manufacturing schedules.
  • Utilize various fixtures, hand tools, and specialized equipment to assemble, modify, measure, cut, drill, adjust, test, or repair products.
  • Conduct quality control inspections, both visual and functional, of materials/products before and after assembly.
  • Employ effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to assess the electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies.
  • Report any discrepancies in work orders, material lists, assembly instructions, or equipment malfunctions to supervision.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with supervisors and team leads.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
  • Comply with prescribed safety regulations.

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using computers and related technology is necessary.

  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and measuring instruments are essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret visual aids such as drawings and blueprints is necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with reading electrical diagrams is a plus.
  • Experience in wiring control panels is beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires regular communication and the ability to use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, and controls. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, and stooping are necessary. Candidates may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment noise level is typically moderate. Access to and inspection of all machinery areas is required.
