Position Overview:

The Production Assembler is integral to our manufacturing operations, executing bench-type tasks to finalize mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools, as well as electronic and pneumatic equipment. Previous experience in mechanical or electrical assembly is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures or work instructions.
  • Execute assembly tasks to produce complete products as per manufacturing schedules.
  • Utilize various fixtures, hand tools, and specialized equipment to assemble, modify, measure, cut, drill, adjust, test, or repair products.
  • Conduct quality control inspections, both visual and functional, of materials/products pre- and post-assembly.
  • Employ effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to assess the electrical and mechanical performance of finished assemblies.
  • Report any discrepancies in work orders, material lists, assembly instructions, or equipment issues to supervision.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with supervisors and team leads.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
  • Comply with established safety regulations.

Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
