Role Overview:

The Assembler plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process by executing bench-type tasks to complete both mechanical and electrical assemblies as well as sub-assemblies. Proficiency in using hand tools, along with electronic and pneumatic equipment, is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Conduct assembly operations to produce finished products in accordance with manufacturing schedules.
  • Utilize various tools, fixtures, and gauges to assemble, modify, measure, cut, drill, adjust, test, or repair products.
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure functionality and adherence to specifications before and after assembly.
  • Employ problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and verify the electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies.
  • Report any discrepancies in work orders, material lists, assembly instructions, or equipment issues to supervision.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team leads.
  • Keep the work area and equipment organized and clean.
  • Follow all prescribed safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret visual aids such as drawings and blueprints.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

The work environment typically has a moderate noise level, and candidates must be able to access and inspect all areas of machinery.
