As a Guest Service Agent at Kingsmill Resort, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the resort.

Key Tasks
  • Register guests, process payments, and finalize guest accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assign guest rooms, issue keys, and ensure guest security at all times.
  • Make, confirm, and cancel reservations, promoting and selling location activities as needed.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of resort facilities, locations, room types, and activities to provide accurate and helpful information to guests.
  • Answer telephones in a professional and timely manner, using correct greetings and telephone etiquette.
  • Take, record, and relay messages accurately and thoroughly.
  • Document guest problems and complaints using correct forms and procedures, and resolve issues to guest satisfaction.
  • Conscientiously handle Lost and Found items according to Kingsmill Resort guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to cash handling procedures and securing the bank at all times.
  • Post charges to guest accounts for services and purchases, and balance receipts and postings at the end of each shift.

  • Excellent human relation skills, with the ability to thrive in a public-facing environment.
  • Strong communication and sales skills, with the ability to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to interact with diverse guests and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
