Position Overview

Seeking a Skilled Office Manager / Staff Officer at Case Management Consulting

*This role necessitates an active Top-Secret clearance*

Are you a proficient office management professional eager to contribute to innovative projects? We are in search of a talented individual to become part of our team at Case Management Consulting. In this capacity, you will play a vital role in supporting the Business Executive, Staff Officers, and Leads with personnel management and the administration of daily operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary action officer for assigned tasks, ensuring all requirements are met, reviewed, and approved by leadership, and that responses are prepared for timely release;
  • Assist the Business Executive, Staff Officers, and Leads with all responsibilities related to AOT and its subordinate offices;
  • Provide coordination support for Continuity of Operations (COOP), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), space management, and position oversight to achieve objectives;
  • Compile special reports, summaries, or responses to inquiries related to the mission, gathering relevant information from various sources under general guidance;
  • Support the Business Executive, Staff Officers, and Leads with staff management and daily administrative tasks;
  • Document Action Items and commitments made by executives during meetings and facilitate implementation;
  • Anticipate and prepare necessary materials for conferences, correspondence, appointments, and meetings, keeping the lead officer informed;
  • Review outgoing correspondence for executive approval, advising authors on compliance with policies and executive viewpoints;
  • Summarize incoming materials and meetings to assist executives, coordinating new information with background sources and highlighting critical issues;
  • Review publications, agency regulations, and directives, taking action or referring important items to the Business Executive and staff;
  • Advise administrative personnel in subordinate offices on new procedures and request necessary information for conferences, reports, and inquiries;
  • Exhibit strong internal and external coordination, non-technical writing, organizational, and customer service skills;
  • Extract and synthesize complex information to prepare briefings and other documentation;
  • Demonstrate briefing skills, project management, strategic planning, organizational skills, and resource management;
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;
  • Work collaboratively as a team member, consistently meeting schedules and timelines with attention to detail;
  • Work independently and under pressure;
  • Understand COOP/BCP concepts, space planning, Defense Travel System (DTS), records management, and event coordination;
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve problems effectively;
  • Serve as an Information Officer (IO) responsible for facilitating Records Management, ensuring actions such as office inventory, file plan establishment, training on records management processes, and proper filing of records are completed.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance, demonstrating a commitment to confidentiality and security;
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field, or at least 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications with the ability to independently develop materials.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience performing general staff officer duties using established guidelines;
  • Ability to gather information to synthesize functional needs;
  • Experience in research and information gathering;
  • Familiarity with the intelligence analysis and production process;
  • Basic understanding of the NSG structure, functional managers' roles, and relationships among NSG members and partners;
  • Experience with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community practices, missions, and policies.
