Alta Resources is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Bilingual Customer Care Representative.

Position Overview

The Bilingual Customer Care Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional service and sales assistance to both current and potential clients. This role employs a consultative method that aligns with the values and mission of Alta Resources and its partners. Responsibilities encompass a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: handling inbound and outbound communications via phone, email, chat, and other channels; conducting data entry; managing surveys; validating orders; and fulfilling sample requests. Additional responsibilities may involve updating reports, assisting in the testing of new processes, and performing data analysis. This position is crucial for addressing and resolving customer inquiries, providing product support, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as a representative of the company by providing high-quality customer service and support, utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Identifies and resolves customer issues by offering solutions, recommendations, and detailed product information in a timely manner.
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation, ensuring data integrity in CRM and other systems.
  • Recognizes potential sales opportunities and may suggest additional products to customers.
  • Translates and interprets languages as necessary.
  • Prioritizes and manages multiple tasks effectively to meet established deadlines.
  • Achieves performance metrics and goals in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Proactively enhances product knowledge to better serve customers.
  • Fosters positive relationships with clients and colleagues to facilitate communication and reporting.
  • Suggests improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Reports any training needs or discrepancies to management.
  • Maintains regular attendance and punctuality as part of job responsibilities.

Leadership and Development

While this role does not involve direct supervision, it requires active participation in strategic initiatives and personal development, including the application of Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education is preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English or French and English is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or related fields is essential.
  • Proficient in navigating multiple software applications and performing data entry accurately.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Capable of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
  • Adaptable to change and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
