Construction Bid Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Bid Specialist to join our team at DiPietro Recruiting & Consulting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of bidding processes related to commercial new construction and remodeling/renovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and document existing conditions to inform preliminary construction schedules and durations.
- Coordinate bid processes, attend prebid meetings, and analyze proposals for scope and pricing to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
- Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and exceptional work ethic to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to analyze problems and make sound decisions.
- Self-starter capable of performing independently and as a team member to drive results and achieve objectives.
- Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional support to clients and stakeholders.
Experience:
- Knowledge of bidding processes related to commercial new construction and remodeling/renovations.
- Experience conducting site visits and documenting existing conditions.
- Ability to establish preliminary construction schedules and durations.
- Experience coordinating bid processes and attending prebid meetings.
- Ability to analyze proposals and bids for scope and pricing.
