Average Hours:

32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage:
$17.00 per hour

Note:
Training will occur at a nearby location until the new store is operational.

  • Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, aiding customers throughout their shopping journey.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Provide constructive feedback to management regarding products, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and general concerns.
  • Participate in inventory counts following established guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures while safeguarding the confidentiality of documents and data.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stock merchandise from receiving areas to shelves; capable of lifting products weighing up to 45 pounds to various heights.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and navigate throughout the store.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for this position.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
  • Capable of safely operating equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness to meet company standards.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Must meet any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a retail setting preferred.
  • A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
