Job Summary

TM Associates Management Inc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of electrical and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including heaters, air-conditioners, and other systems
  • Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failure
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including lubricating motors and pumps, replacing filters, and performing other preventive maintenance tasks
  • Assist with apartment turnovers, including furniture removal and cleaning
  • Report any health or safety issues to the Site Manager
  • Perform weekly inspections of buildings, grounds, and public areas, and submit reports to the Site Manager
  • Provide adequate and efficient housekeeping functions, including cleaning light fixtures, mailbox fronts, and other areas
  • Operate a vehicle for site errands, including trips to banks, stores, and other vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Manager and/or TMAM Management
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Able to climb ladders to a height of 20 feet
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
  • Reliable vehicle transportation for errands from property
