About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician 3 to join our team at EMCOR Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will provide technical support to our site-based electrician, HVAC Technician, and other trades personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with various technical and non-technical tasks within a facilities environment.
- Provide technical maintenance support to the site-based electrician, HVAC Technician, and other trades personnel.
- Perform light carpentry and painting tasks as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in safety and code regulations through seminars and other educational means.
- Communicate with the owner, owner's representative, or supervisor on the work performed and present status of the mechanical system.
- Use voltage testers and multi-meters to verify electrical current is present.
- Read and understand English to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
- Start up and secure all equipment in designated buildings as requested by your supervisor.
- Assist with structural trades as needed.
- Work as a team player committed to delivering quality results.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, adhering to our safety program.
- Answer trouble calls as required under direct supervision.
- Complete assigned preventative maintenance work.
- Assist any tradesperson as required.
- Perform reporting and note-taking as needed.
Requirements:
- One-year certificate from college or technical school, or one to three months' related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Universal CFC Certification.
- Technical degree in HVAC or a minimum of two years' hands-on experience in the HVAC trade industry.
