Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Compliance Leader will report directly to the Site President at Enjet Aero. This role is pivotal in overseeing the quality engineering department and ensuring adherence to the Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead traditional quality verification processes, including:
- Final inspections
- Receiving and in-process inspections
- CMM inspection activities
- Independent laboratory testing
- Customer and internal audits
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Supplier quality management
- Scheduling inspection workloads

2. Develop, document, and implement inspection criteria and procedures.

3. Create and execute quality control tests, inspect products at various stages, and compile reports on production discrepancies.

4. Manage the collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of inspection metrics.

5. Provide final decisions on quality-related issues.

6. Ensure timely execution of planning and scheduling activities within the quality inspection department, maintaining compliance with all quality and design standards.

7. Conduct thorough inspections of final products to ensure conformity with industry and company standards.

8. Prepare comprehensive reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data.

9. Train and supervise production line personnel in quality assessment practices.

10. Communicate expectations clearly to staff and monitor production processes to identify common error sources.

11. Research strategies to minimize human error on the production line and assess the impact of various policies on defect rates.

12. Serve as the customer interface for the Quality Organization regarding non-conformance records (NCRs).

Qualifications:
- BSME or similar degree with over 10 years of leadership experience in sheet metal forming, welding, machining, heat treating, brazing, and assembly within a make-to-order, high mix-low volume environment.
- Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong project management capabilities; PMP certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cold and warm press forming is beneficial, along with exposure to hydroforming, brazing, vacuum and solution heat treating, manual and CNC machining, and welding techniques.
- Experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives, with the ability to transition from tactical to strategic thinking.
- Understanding of financial documentation and the ability to track part costs from quotation through improvement evaluations.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).
- Adaptability to rapidly changing business conditions.
- Solid financial acumen, including capital management and make/buy decision processes.
- Working knowledge of PFMEA, Six Sigma, and other advanced quality improvement methodologies.
