Job Summary:
Enjet Aero is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and Approve Materials: Inspect and approve incoming materials and parts by confirming to work instructions, drawings, specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials and parts.
- Inspect Production Parts: Inspect in-process and final production parts by confirming to work instructions, specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, recording non-conforming parts in the appropriate database.
- Maintain Records: Maintain records of testing and information such as number of defective products, dimensional results, etc. in accordance with the Quality procedures.
- Operate Measurement Equipment: Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
- Use Inspection Equipment: Use inspection equipment and automated systems to perform part inspections.
- Verify First Piece: Accomplish (verify) first piece at the operation approving the parts to be processed.
- Communicate Results: Convey verbally and/or in writing, the condition of the parts being inspected.
- Utilize Electronic Databases: Utilize electronic databases for submitting non-conformances or obtaining work instructions.
- Perform Administrative Duties: Perform administrative duties consistent with departmental practices.
- Follow Safety Policies: Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Other Duties: Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED with excellent working knowledge of trigonometry.
- Experience: Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing including operational inspection or supporting quality inspection utilizing hand-held gauges.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and ability to apply GD&T, DSQR/DPRV experience preferred, ability to read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for parts or materials, basic computer skills including data entry, and reads and interprets customer and industry specifications.
