We are seeking a highly skilled Air Import Operations Coordinator to join our team at Accelerated Global Solutions (AGS). As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely movement of shipments and maintaining efficient communication with clients and overseas agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the importation of air freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with clients and overseas agents.
  • Accurately process and file documents, including invoices, AWB, and shipping statements, verifying merchandise weights or volumes.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and meet key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying operational inefficiencies and proposing improvements.
  • Organize data using spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) to collaborate internally with warehouse and operations teams for timely fulfillment.
  • Perform daily tracing to maintain data accuracy and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and carriers.
  • Provide support to fellow associates, supervisors, and department managers as necessary.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of air import operations experience highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive with strong organization skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Cargowise is a plus.
  • Previous experience in freight forwarding highly preferred.
  • Fluent English is required; proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese is a plus.

Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Springfield Gardens, NY 11413 or plan to relocate before starting work.

Schedule: 8-hour shift, 5 days a week (weekends are necessary)
