Key Challenge

One of the significant hurdles for independent restaurants is sourcing affordable, high-quality supplies. Many face inflated prices compared to franchises and often rely on outdated ordering systems. Slice's initiative, "The Goods," aims to tackle this issue by enabling local pizzeria owners to conveniently order premium supplies at competitive prices with just a few clicks.

Your Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, your primary role will involve cultivating and nurturing relationships with restaurant owners within your designated market. Your objective will be to onboard new clients to The Goods and facilitate their transition to our Reordering Team for repeat business. This position requires extensive travel within your market, engaging with shop owners face-to-face, and following up to secure ongoing orders. It is a dynamic sales role that involves numerous daily interactions to meet targets.

Team Collaboration

The Supply Chain team, also known as The Goods, consists of our VP of Supply Chain and a dedicated group operating across various territories on the East Coast. You will work closely with local pizzeria and restaurant owners to assess their needs and showcase how Slice can enhance their operations. This position reports to the Market Operations Lead.

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a confident and consultative salesperson who is passionate about building relationships with local pizzeria and restaurant owners. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 1-3 years of sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Exceptional communication skills; adept at leading presentations and pitches, both in person and over the phone
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
  • A self-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment and is willing to adapt as priorities shift
  • A proactive go-getter who is open to coaching, adaptable, motivated, and resilient
  • A customer-focused mindset; capable of providing consultative solutions and addressing specific challenges faced by owners in real-time
  • A valid driver's license and readiness to travel within the designated area, engaging with various stakeholders and partners

Compensation

Salary Range: $80k OTE (base salary + commission) plus benefits.

The above represents the expected salary range for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Hiring Process

The hiring process for this role is expected to be straightforward and efficient. Here’s what you can anticipate:
