The role of a Mill Operations Specialist involves the efficient transportation of milling products using a tractor/trailer within the mill and surrounding areas. Candidates must possess the ability to inspect and operate machinery while ensuring timely and secure delivery of each load.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Adhere to all Safe Job Instructions (SJIs) and complete all necessary training requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the transport vehicle.
  • Follow established mill guidelines and specifications diligently.
  • Ensure safe transportation of all loads.
  • Conduct inspections and report any equipment issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner.
  • Assist mill and customer employees with internal logistics as needed.
  • Report any incidents, issues, or hazards to the on-duty supervisor.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Support mill and yard operations as required.
