Compensation: $22/hour

Position Overview

The Production Operator is responsible for utilizing various types of machinery to support the manufacturing of NARSTCO products efficiently and safely. This role requires collaboration with fellow team members to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Conduct production activities for processing all NARSTCO products as required.
  • Follow directives from the Production Foreman and Team Leads.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
  • Work at an efficient pace to meet production goals while adhering to quality standards.
  • Assist new team members in understanding safe and efficient production practices, including standard operating procedures and instructional materials.
  • Exhibit integrity, honesty, and good faith in all dealings with the Company, customers, employees, suppliers, and the public.
  • Perform additional reasonable tasks as requested by the Company.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift operation experience and certification is a plus.
  • Basic reading and math skills.
  • Familiarity with punch presses, form presses, forklifts, calipers, tape measures, PLC equipment, automated machinery, grinders, and fabrication tools is preferred.
  • Basic maintenance skills, such as tightening and loosening bolts, are advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret instructions, drawings, and specifications as necessary for quality assurance.
  • Proficient in working with tools and machinery.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, lift, bend, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
  • Work in environments with high noise levels.
