Key Responsibilities- Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Lead the Culinary Team: Motivate and develop a high-performing team of chefs and cooks, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Develop and Implement Menus: Create and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests, taking into account seasonal ingredients, dietary restrictions, and culinary trends.
- Ensure Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and standards.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available to meet the needs of the kitchen.
- Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with the front-of-house team, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses, to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
- Culinary Education: Degree or certificate in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Skills: Expertise in food product, presentation, quality, and preparation, as well as menu concept and design.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
