Look no further Our waterfront restaurant in Ithaca, NY is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our dynamic and vibrant team. As our Executive Chef, you will be responsible for setting the standard of excellence in our kitchen. You will lead by example, hiring and training top talent to ensure outstanding daily operations. Collaborating with other leaders, you will mentor and develop high-potential individuals into leaders themselves. Your deep passion for maintaining high food quality standards will be evident in every dish that leaves our kitchen.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set the tone for the culinary team by fostering a positive culture and ensuring top-quality food.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to ensure outstanding daily operations.
  • Mentor high-potential individuals into leadership roles.
  • Manage food quality and operational costs with a keen eye for detail.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of executive chef experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, food cost control, labor scheduling, and variable costs.
  • A proven track record in developing and motivating team members.
  • A shared passion for maintaining high food quality standards.
