Stewardship and Donor Relations Coordinator

Job Summary
The University of Michigan seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Stewardship and Donor Relations Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Stewardship and Donor Relations team in the Office of University Development. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will support the team's core stewardship services, including acknowledgements, reporting, recognition, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in producing donor gift acknowledgement letters from senior leadership using existing reports and systems.
- Compile and run daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support the gift acknowledgement and recognition programs.
- Maintain and coordinate the Executive Director's calendar.
- Provide scheduling and logistical support for large group meetings organized by Stewardship and Donor Relations team members.
- Assist in producing annual Office of Financial Aid scholarship impact reports for donors.
- Support the annual donor endowment mailing.
Requirements
- 3+ years of administrative and/or project experience or a bachelor's degree.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Suite.
Work Arrangements
The University of Michigan offers a hybrid work mode, with the option to work remotely and attend weekly team meetings in-person. The successful candidate will be expected to work 3 days per week in the office, particularly for training and developing expertise.
