Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Community Inclusion Specialist to join our team at Resources for Human Development. As a Community Inclusion Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities and/or autism in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Support: Provide daily support to participants in the community, helping them achieve their personal goals and participate in activities and events.
  • Basic Needs Support: Meet the basic needs of participants while in the community, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as required.
  • Individual Support Plans: Implement and maintain knowledge of participants' Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and personal needs to provide meaningful and productive support.
  • Tracking and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate tracking of receipts and expenditures for reconciliation and complete all required paperwork, including case notes.
  • Transportation: Drive personal vehicle or use public transportation to assist individuals in accessing the community.
  • First Aid: Attend to basic first aid needs as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Qualifications: Basic computer skills using Microsoft Products, valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and a clean driving record.
