Position Overview:

In a dynamic organization, the allocation of financial resources is crucial for impactful outcomes. We are seeking a skilled Financial Project Analyst who can adeptly navigate the intricate landscape of funding requirements, policies, and regulations to ensure that resources are utilized effectively.

As a vital member of our team, you will develop a comprehensive financial management strategy aimed at enhancing project success. Collaborating closely with your colleagues, you will create actionable plans that empower clients to secure the necessary funding to meet their objectives. This role presents an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the legal frameworks and policies that underpin well-structured financial requirements.

Once funding is secured, you will oversee its efficient utilization through diligent tracking and ongoing communication with senior leadership. This position allows you to leverage your expertise in financial data analysis while expanding your experience in business and financial analysis. You will be tasked with crafting innovative solutions to complex challenges, applying advanced consulting skills and extensive industry knowledge, all while receiving guidance and mentorship from seasoned team members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a program control analyst, project control analyst, or financial analyst capacity.
  • Proficiency in monitoring compliance and conditions related to government contracts.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors and vendors, including the ability to interpret Statements of Work (SOW), oversee funding allocations, and review invoices.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel functionalities for financial tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Capable of identifying, researching, discussing, and resolving administrative and financial challenges.
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial modeling, including funding analysis and cost/revenue forecasting.
  • Familiarity with proposal support, including responding to RFPs and assisting in cost volume development for competitive bids.
  • Ability to grasp fundamentals related to program management support activities.
  • Skill in identifying program risks and contributing to mitigation strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
