Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Financial Systems Analyst to join our team at First Information Technology Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging Oracle financial systems to support and enhance our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze Business Requirements: Translate business needs into Oracle system configurations and solutions, particularly in the areas of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and other financial modules.
  • Configure and Customize Oracle Financial Modules: Configure and customize Oracle financial modules, including AP, AR, and Fixed Assets, to meet business needs and ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Provide Functional Support: Provide functional support for Oracle financial systems, with a focus on AP, AR, and Fixed Assets modules, including troubleshooting issues, implementing enhancements, and optimizing system performance.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of Oracle systems, including AP, AR, and Fixed Assets modules, with business processes and objectives.
  • Design Reports and Financial Dashboards: Assist in designing reports and financial dashboards to provide insights and support decision-making for the business.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial processes and principles.
  • ERP System Migration Experience: Experience with ERP system migrations, preferably involving Oracle Cloud ERP or similar cloud-based financial systems.
  • Audit Process Knowledge: Familiarity with audit processes and interactions, including experience in providing support during audits and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
  • Oracle Financial Module Configuration: Proficiency in configuring and customizing Oracle financial modules, focusing on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and other relevant modules.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into system configurations and solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, with experience working with cross-functional teams to align financial systems with business objectives.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Government Accounting Knowledge: Knowledge of government accounting principles, regulations, and processes.
  • Public Sector Experience: Experience working in the public sector, particularly in local government finance.
  • Oracle Financials Certification: Certification in Oracle Financials or relevant ERP systems is a plus.
