Key Responsibilities:

The Junior Systems Analyst will function as a computer systems analyst on projects that generally involve the establishment of automated systems, focusing on the overall life cycle framework. The role includes conducting feasibility studies covering design, implementation, and post-implementation assessments using various methodologies. Design criteria must be developed to accommodate changes in legislation, mission objectives, or functional program requirements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Systems, or a related discipline. (A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.)
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in systems analysis within the information technology sector.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in designing business applications on IT systems.
  • A comprehensive understanding of data sources, data flow, system interactions, advanced computing equipment, software applications, and sophisticated systems design techniques to create solutions for complex challenges and to provide guidance on systems design and IT projections.
