Customer Service Operations Coordinator

Position Summary:
- Role Title: Coordinator, Customer Service
- Location: San Marcos
- Department: Customer Service
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the customer quotation process, manages pricing contracts, and maintains customer program details. Updates pricing information in the system.
- Oversees the progression of orders throughout the complete order cycle.
- Collaborates with customers and the Finance department to gather credit references, set payment conditions, and issue credits when necessary.
- Addresses customer grievances and works closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Completes and manages all administrative documentation related to customer service. Generates and updates sales reports.
- Continuously enhances customer service processes to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
- Engages with customers by providing monthly accounts receivable statements and assists the finance team with collections.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Performs other related duties as assigned, some of which may become essential to the role.
Safety Duties:
- Ensures adherence to all safety guidelines and practices as established by the organization.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in customer service.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in building and maintaining customer relationships while delivering exceptional service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities, with a knack for interpreting reports and utilizing data effectively.
- Adaptability to evolving organizational requirements.
- Preferred: Bilingual communication skills in Spanish, familiarity with credit management and collections, and experience in international supply chains and logistics.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods, with occasional walking and climbing stairs.
- Finger dexterity adequate for computer operation and paperwork.
- Visual and auditory capabilities sufficient for effective communication.
- Capacity to lift and transport items weighing up to 70 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Office environment with controlled climate conditions.
