Job Overview

Position Summary:

  • Job Title: Coordinator, Customer Service

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversees the customer quotation process, manages pricing contracts, and maintains customer program details. Updates pricing information in the system as needed.
  2. Facilitates the progression of orders throughout the complete order cycle.
  3. Collaborates with customers and the Finance department to gather credit references, set payment conditions, and issue credits when necessary.
  4. Addresses customer complaints and works alongside the Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  5. Completes and manages all administrative documentation related to customer service and generates sales reports.
  6. Continuously enhances customer service procedures to guarantee optimal customer satisfaction.
  7. Engages with customers by providing monthly accounts receivable statements and supports finance in collection efforts.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Performs other related duties as assigned, which may become essential to the role.

Safety Duties:

  • Ensures adherence to all safety guidelines and practices as established by the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least three years of experience in customer service.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in building and maintaining customer relationships while delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, capable of interpreting reports and utilizing data effectively.
  • Adaptability to changing organizational demands.
  • Preferred: Bilingual communication skills in Spanish, knowledge of credit management and collections, experience with international logistics.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods, with occasional walking and stair climbing.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient for computer operation and paperwork.
  • Visual and auditory capabilities adequate for effective communication.
  • Capacity to lift and transport items weighing up to 70 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Office environment with regulated temperature.
