Compensation & Benefits:

Actual salary offers take into account various factors, including budget constraints, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, certifications, and other business considerations. Required Qualifications:
Experience and/or training in legal secretarial or paralegal roles. (Mandatory) And

Knowledge of U.S. Patent and international patent law, regulations, and prosecution practices. (Mandatory) And

Familiarity with iEdison, a system utilized for invention and patent reporting by U.S. government agencies. (Preferred)


Proven proficiency in Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software, including advanced formatting and review features to create reports and other materials that present data in a logical, concise, and effective manner.

Demonstrated ability to extract and integrate information from various sources and format technical information, including data represented graphically. (Mandatory)

Proven capability to compose clear, concise, accurate, logical, and grammatically correct memos, letters, procedures, and reports. (Mandatory)

Skill in accurately proofreading and formatting correspondence, reports, and other materials. Ability to verify the accuracy of facts and the substance of written materials, including technical documents. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. (Mandatory)

Demonstrated skill in maintaining precise and complete records. Detail-oriented with the capacity to organize record-keeping and information retrieval systems. (Mandatory)

Ability to prepare presentations and develop promotional and educational materials. (Mandatory)

Capability to manage frequent interruptions and competing priorities. Ability to work effectively under deadline pressure while maintaining a high level of productivity. Uphold confidentiality of information and records. (Mandatory)

Demonstrated skill in communicating with a diverse audience via telephone, in writing, and in person. Ability to cultivate effective working relationships across multiple offices. (Mandatory)


Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, following through on assignments with minimal supervision and independently prioritizing tasks.
