About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at Pushpay. As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and reconcile all general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor bank balances and ensure accurate and timely record keeping for all bank transactions.
  • Perform month-end process across the Group, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
  • Support travel and staff expenses accounting processes.
  • Manage fixed assets, intangible assets, prepayment and lease schedules.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports where required.
  • Provide assistance and support to billing, payables and payroll team members as needed.
  • Provide assistance and support for sales tax analysis and reporting for multiple states and countries.
  • Assist with financial and tax audits.
  • Document and monitor internal controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years accounting experience.
  • Intermediate experience with enterprise accounting systems like NetSuite.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheets and G-Suite applications.
  • Tech savvy and experienced in multiple accounting and financial apps and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.
  • Ability to work closely with other accounting & FP&A team members and cost center leaders.
