Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Summary:
Addison Group is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the accounting department, you will be responsible for managing full cycle accounting, general ledger, payroll, cash management, financial reporting, and accounts payable for multiple entities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with monthly financial close process and ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Prepare and process payroll, including reconciliations and reporting.
  • Assist with cash projections and reconciliation processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies in all financial transactions.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide support during audits and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or CPA firm.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and high level of discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
