Position Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Redmond, WA

Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 / Year

A distinguished boutique real estate organization in the Redmond, WA vicinity is in search of a Staff Accountant. This role involves close collaboration with the Controller and management team to oversee comprehensive accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, payroll processing, cash management, financial reporting, and accounts payable across various entities. Ideal candidates will have a keen interest in the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the monthly financial closing process.
  • Manage payroll preparation and processing, ensuring accurate reconciliations and reporting.
  • Assist in cash flow projections and reconciliation tasks.
  • Supervise accounts payable to guarantee timely and precise processing.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal policies in all financial dealings.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance during audit processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.
