Position Summary:
The Aerial Plant Inspector I will play a crucial role in ensuring that all aerial plant facilities adhere to established standards through thorough inspections and oversight of contractor work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and audits of aerial plant facilities to ensure compliance with current standards.
  • Document all inspection findings, audits, and pole transfers using electronic systems.
  • Communicate effectively through various channels, including email and mobile devices.
  • Occasionally perform manual inspections and audits using printed documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in NESC inspections or working with aerial cable line crews.
  • Background in conducting wooden pole ground line inspections.
  • Proficient understanding of OSP Construction Standards.
  • Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable with internet navigation and web browsing.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Effective personal time management and organizational skills.
  • A valid driver's license and readiness to travel as needed.
