Marketing Engagement Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Engagement Coordinator provides immediate electronic assistance (voice, text, chat) to the Marketing division, serving as an extension of promotional and advertising initiatives. This role involves engaging in real-time communication regarding promotional offers, events, guest feedback, and follow-up opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with Guests via voice, chat, or text to promote and facilitate participation in events and promotions, aiming to generate RSVPs and enhance guest interactions through effective communication.
- Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to share insights and refine strategies for enhanced effectiveness.
- Initiate outbound communications to Guests using prepared scripts or talking points to introduce products or services.
- Identify and qualify potential leads by gathering pertinent information and assessing their interests and needs.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Viejas' promotions and events, effectively communicating their features, benefits, and value propositions to prospective guests.
- Deliver tailored communication to meet the needs and preferences of Guests, driving interest and encouraging RSVPs.
- Maintain a database of leads and contacts, following up with prospects through subsequent communications to nurture relationships and foster growth opportunities.
- Accurately record all interactions, sales activities, and customer information for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Achieve or surpass monthly or quarterly communication targets and quotas established by the company to contribute to overall revenue objectives.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment is upheld.
- Adhere to all company and departmental policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- This position does not involve supervising other team members.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospects over the phone.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating product features and benefits persuasively.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a professional, high-pressure environment while maintaining positive interpersonal skills and a constructive attitude.
- Capacity to multitask and perform well under stress.
- Self-starter with the ability to adapt to change.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and/or training.
- Experience in guest service, gaming, and/or special events is preferred.
