We are looking for an energetic Real Estate Team Development Leader who can elevate our market center. Your role will involve attracting exceptional talent, supporting our current associates, and shaping the strategic vision of our office.

Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Cambridge, MA; In-Office (must be within a 20-minute commute)

Compensation: $80,000 base plus performance-based bonuses. Historical annual earnings for this role: $200,000 - $300,000.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Growth:

• Set and achieve monthly and weekly appointment goals.

• Maintain consistent contact volume targets on a monthly and weekly basis.

• Work to minimize appointment cancellations, keeping them below a specified threshold.

• Conduct regular meetings with a designated number of experienced recruits each month.

• Aim to recruit and onboard a specific number of experienced associates monthly.

• Diligently monitor and document recruitment activities and results.

• Implement established recruiting strategies to attract top talent.

• Regularly update and manage the recruiting database and pipeline system.

Leadership and Development:

• Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to lead the Associate Leadership Council (ALC).

• Mentor the top 20% of associates to enhance their production and serve as role models.

• Provide strategic insights for company success amid changing market conditions.

• Foster predictable profitability through effective Cap Management.

• Coordinate with the Director of Career Development on onboarding and training for new hires.

Community Engagement:

• Build relationships with potential recruits through industry events and networking opportunities.

• Guide associates in establishing connections within the local agent community.

• Collaborate with the Growth Committee to enhance recruiting efforts.

• Analyze competitors and adjust strategies to effectively attract talent.

Focus on Top Performers:

• Lead and mentor the top 20% of associates to boost production, GCI, and profitability.

• Contribute to associate wealth-building, including profit-sharing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven success in real estate sales and leadership roles.

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

• Proficient in CRM systems and real estate technology platforms.

• Availability to dedicate approximately 40 hours per month (10 hours per week) to recruitment activities.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Number of appointments set and completed.

• Number of experienced associates recruited each month.

• Growth in market center production and profitability.

• Associate retention and satisfaction rates.
