The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our account management and service team, you'll be responsible for managing small and large groups, maintaining client relationships, and providing day-to-day service for employee benefits clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR Managers and C-Suite executives
  • Develop and implement plans to meet client needs throughout the year
  • Manage the RFP and marketing process
  • Collaborate with producers in the renewal planning process
  • Advise and guide clients on compliance matters
  • Manage and facilitate preparation of open enrollment packets, including SBCs and disclosure notices
  • Understand and explain all aspects of carrier renewals for assigned clients
  • Maintain client relationships, support client retention, and understand client needs
  • Manage claims and coverage issue resolution for clients' employees
  • Develop open enrollment presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint software for employees and HR Managers as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
  • At least 3+ years of related employee benefits, account-service experience within a brokerage environment
  • Knowledge of employee benefits and related legislation, such as ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA
  • Currently licensed in good standing
  • Confidence and demeanor to effectively interact with all levels within the organization
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
