Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing small and large group employee benefits clients, providing day-to-day service, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain client relationships with HR Managers and C-Suite executives
  • Develop and implement plans to meet client's short and long-term needs
  • Manage the RFP and marketing process
  • Collaborate with Producers in the renewal planning process
  • Advise and guide clients on compliance matters
  • Manage and facilitate preparation of open enrollment packets
  • Understand and explain carrier renewals to clients
  • Manage claims and coverage issue resolution for clients' employees
  • Develop open enrollment presentations for employees and HR Managers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
  • At least 3+ years of related employee benefits experience in a brokerage environment
  • Knowledge of employee benefits and related legislation
  • Current licensure in good standing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
