Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing small and large group employee benefits clients, providing day-to-day service, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client relationships with HR Managers and C-Suite executives
- Develop and implement plans to meet client's short and long-term needs
- Manage the RFP and marketing process
- Collaborate with Producers in the renewal planning process
- Advise and guide clients on compliance matters
- Manage and facilitate preparation of open enrollment packets
- Understand and explain carrier renewals to clients
- Manage claims and coverage issue resolution for clients' employees
- Develop open enrollment presentations for employees and HR Managers
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- At least 3+ years of related employee benefits experience in a brokerage environment
- Knowledge of employee benefits and related legislation
- Current licensure in good standing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
