The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our account management and service team, you'll be responsible for managing small and large groups, maintaining client relationships, and providing day-to-day service for employee benefits clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR Managers and C-Suite executives
- Develop and implement plans to meet client needs throughout the year
- Manage the RFP and marketing process
- Collaborate with producers in the renewal planning process
- Advise and guide clients on compliance matters
- Manage and facilitate preparation of open enrollment packets
- Understand and explain carrier renewals to clients
- Maintain client relationships and support client retention
- Manage claims and coverage issue resolution for clients' employees
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- At least 3+ years of related employee benefits experience within a brokerage environment
- Knowledge of employee benefits and related legislation
- Current licensure in good standing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
