The Area Sales Director, Strategic Sales is a critical leadership position responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion in the Strategic segment. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business plan to drive revenue growth and expansion in the Strategic segment.
  • Lead a team of highly experienced Account Executives, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they meet or exceed their sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Development, Pre-Sales, Customer First, and Marketing, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Act as an Executive Sponsor on critical deal opportunities, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Monitor and track team performance, using data-driven insights to inform sales strategies and optimize results.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a large account/strategic segment with a track record of success in managing high-performing teams and executing multi-million dollar deals.
  • Experience managing a growth-focused team with demonstrated success bringing on new logos and driving revenue expansion.
  • Ability to coach and develop sales talent, with a strong focus on building a culture of trust and collaboration.
  • Deep knowledge of sales frameworks, including MEDDPICC, and ability to coach others on their effective use.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a strong ability to develop and execute business plans and drive revenue growth.
