THE ROLE

Fast Forward is on the lookout for a highly organized and proactive Partnerships Associate to assist in managing our network of exceptional partners and support our extensive portfolio of over 100 tech nonprofits. The ideal candidate excels in relationship building, enjoys project management, and pays meticulous attention to detail. They seek a vibrant and inspiring work environment where their skills in relationship management and project execution can truly thrive. They are enthusiastic about fostering top-tier partnerships with leading tech companies, engaging employee volunteers, and collaborating closely with both marketing and program teams at Fast Forward.

This role will report to the Director of Partnerships and is a full-time, in-office position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner Account Management:

  • Assist the Director of Partnerships and the broader Partnerships team in delivering an outstanding partnership experience for Fast Forward's corporate collaborators.
  • Anticipate partner needs and preferences, customizing communications and engagement opportunities to enhance their experience and nurture long-term loyalty.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of partner deliverables, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to budget.
  • Manage the execution of strategic partner initiatives across various programs, including the Startup Accelerator and Pitch Camp, by developing all necessary materials and communications.
  • Participate in partner meetings by taking notes, drafting follow-ups, and ensuring timely progress on all developments.

Operations & Administration:

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing deliverables and outcomes for partners, with support from the Partnerships team.
  • Create tailored materials to engage partners and their employees, including proposals, agreements, and partnership engagement summaries.
  • Develop and maintain detailed partner account management systems, outlining key deliverables, milestones, timelines, and strategies for each partner, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Programs and Marketing, to ensure seamless communication and execution for partners.
  • Support administrative tasks related to invoicing, donation processing, and contracting, as well as managing scheduling needs for relevant partners.

Partnership Delivery:

  • Represent Fast Forward effectively in meetings and attend conferences/events to expand Fast Forward's network.
  • Assist the partnerships team in delivering an exceptional partnership experience for Fast Forward's partners.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We seek candidates with the following traits and experience:

  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience in account/client management and/or fundraising; experience in corporate partnerships is advantageous.
  • Strong relationship management, time management, and communication skills are essential; building rapport while executing deliverables is crucial.
  • A customer service orientation and a positive attitude, even under pressure.
  • Proficient in project management, capable of guiding a project from concept to successful execution.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, avoiding low-effort mistakes.
  • Passionate about the potential of social impact technology.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
