Your Role:The Business Development Manager will oversee account management within the electrical contracting sector, focusing on nurturing client relationships, managing sales pipelines, and finalizing contracts.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research to identify and prioritize potential clients, emerging markets, and innovative projects.
- Develop and implement business development strategies for targeted markets and initiatives outlined in the Marketing Plan.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials.
- Guide and mentor Business Development Associates in delivering impactful presentations and proposals.
- Act as the primary contact for prospective and existing clients to ensure their needs are met consistently.
- Coordinate pre-construction activities throughout the sales process until contract closure.
- Manage projects through all phases of development, from inception to construction completion, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Provide budgeting support to clients as needed.
- Enhance and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Organize and manage exhibit booths at industry events.
- Regularly travel to meet with clients.
- Engage with professional organizations and networks.
- Additional duties may be assigned based on the needs of the business unit.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in building relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business development, construction management, or project oversight.
- A combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create professional proposals and presentations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Oracle is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances with a positive outlook.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
- Professional interaction with all levels of staff, clients, and vendors.
- 15-30% travel may be required.
- Typical office environment with extended periods of sitting, standing, and typing.
- Noise levels may vary, with potential exposure to louder environments on job sites.
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be necessary.

Compensation: The expected salary range for this position is between $133,000 and $175,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
