Job Summary:

As the Supervisor of Cybersecurity Operations at Shentel, you will play a pivotal role in leading the security operations and performance of the Information Security program. You will be responsible for overseeing operational teams, providing technical expertise, and guiding the security strategy. Your duties will include coordinating cybersecurity activities with external partners, training security analysts, managing risk with third-party suppliers, and collaborating with various teams within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Define and evolve the Information Security program strategy to align with business objectives

- Oversee security operations and address any issues that arise, ensuring the organization's security posture is maintained

- Train and educate the organization on security threats and best practices to enhance cybersecurity awareness

- Manage risk associated with third-party suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

- Work closely with different teams to define and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards

- Mentor analysts on security tool optimization and vulnerability identification to improve incident response

- Develop and communicate technical reports on security program and operations to stakeholders

Qualification Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Networking Administration, Cyber Security, or a related field

- 5-7 years of experience in Information Security, Data Analytics, or Security Operations

- CISSP or GISP certification required

- Knowledge of WSUS Management, SCCM, SIEM solutions, and compliance regulations

Knowledge of:

- Verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams

- Ability to develop and analyze complex processes to improve security operations

- Understanding of application security and compliance regulations to ensure regulatory adherence

- Experience with mobile device management to ensure secure mobile operations
