Account Executive Job Description

Affinity Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to spearhead market growth and showcase our clients' market-leading products in the Kentucky market.

This role is responsible for planning, execution, and results-driven sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market demand for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for business development, a background in foodservice brokerage and/or distribution sales, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market demand for our clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, merchandisers, buyers, and their sales teams
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up with prospects
  • Collaborate with the corporate sales support team to drive brand awareness and increase market demand for our clients
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of foodservice brokerage or foodservice distribution sales experience
  • Restaurant operations or culinary experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • Outstanding time management and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Self-motivation and drive to succeed
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to build strong partner relationships
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
