Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at Martin Resorts. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage front office operations to ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with department managers to maximize revenues and control labor and productivity.
  • Respond to emergency situations and work with local authorities as needed.
  • Monitor departmental, payroll, and supply expenses in accordance with budgetary goals.
  • Review work assignments of employees and make adjustments as business needs dictate.
  • Communicate throughout the day with front office and other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction.
  • Hold pre-shift meetings with staff prior to reporting to stations.
  • Consistently monitor the performance of associates and assist the department manager in providing feedback.
  • Reward, discipline, and document associate performance and provide timely counseling.
  • Supervise staff and handle associate situations.
  • Maintain efficiency in the operation of the staff in a high standard of quality of service and courtesy, bringing total satisfaction to our guests and the hotel.
  • Facilitate departmental training modules and continually monitor, evaluate, and revise training content to reflect changes in the process.
  • Prepare and submit incident, accident, or injury reports as needed.
  • Process timecards and payroll as required.
  • Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures throughout the execution of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Follow safety and security procedures.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
  • Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.
Work Hours
  • Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
  • Scheduling includes holidays, nights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.
