Job Title: Guest Service Agent

Join DKN Hotel Group as a Guest Service Agent and be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional customer experiences.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to provide personalized service to our guests. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Greet arriving guests, complete check-in procedures, and ensure a smooth check-out process.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members to provide excellent customer service.
  • Cash Handling: Process cash and credit transactions, manage guest accounts, and maintain accurate records.
  • Reservations: Accept and process reservations, both in person and over the phone, using DKN's reservation guidelines.
  • Guest Relations: Maintain good guest relations by staying informed about in-house and area functions to answer questions and concerns.
  • PBX Operations: Operate PBX equipment to accept and assist incoming and outgoing calls, set wake-up calls, and provide timely and efficient service.
  • Mail and Message Distribution: Process and distribute guest mail, messages, and faxes in a timely manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to and maintain established information and communication sources, such as department and front desk log books, to enhance department communications and operations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Minimum of one year of related experience preferred; knowledge of hotel front desk operations and procedures desirable.
  • Skills and Abilities: English speaking, good customer service, communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, ability to prioritize, organize, and make good judgments, basic accounting procedures, typing, cash register, and computer skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Standing for long periods, frequently walking indoors and outdoors, up and down stairs, sitting, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, lifting, and carrying.
Working Conditions:

Front desk/lobby area with access to the entire interior and exterior of the property.
